asketball is my spiritual sport and this project is dedicated to the rising star from Slovenia - Luka Dončić. Even though he chose to go with Air Jordan brand, as many great athletes did before him, I became very skeptical with his current logo design. I'm not saying it's not cool, nor energetic, but to be honest, I think it is lacking the touch of personality. The current logo is putting main emphasis on Luka's jersey number #77 and I think this choice is too generic. To me, Luka's brand story is about the wonder kid from Europe, who came to dominate in US. It is about cultural barriers and exchanges. That's why in this project I tried to reflect his authenticity, by creating a logo which is resembling the alphabet of Slovenia. His name is his slogan. Remember the čić!
